Beyond the Crown: A Celebration of Purpose, Compassion, and Sustainability

On March 23, 2026, as part of the Academic Week celebration, Beyond the Escolarian Crown: The Supreme Eco-Kindness Pageant was held. Organized through the collaborative efforts of three Basic Education organizations—the Supreme Student Council (SSC), Go Green, and Act of Kindness—the pageant served as a platform for advocacy and expression. It encouraged students to use their voices and influence to promote sustainability, empathy, and responsible citizenship.

From January 13-17, 2025, Centro Escolar Las Piñas' (CELP) GO GREEN student group initiated an Environmental Conservation Program focused on raising awareness and promoting sustainable practices. The week-long initiative included a variety of activities, such as poster-making contests to highlight environmental issues, community clean-up drives, and a unique showcase of gowns crafted from recycled materials by Senior High School (SHS) students.

The First Go Green Activity with the theme: “Keep Green, Keep Clean: Let’s Do This Escolarian-ly!” was held on Sept. 13, 2024, to promote the Core Values, discipline and respect for nature, and to foster a clean environment and prioritize cleanliness within the campus. The Grades 1-3 pupils made posters and assembled the students’ outputs to create a mural promoting a clean environment while the Intermediate students made slogans related to discipline and respect for nature.

Pagdiriwang ng Kulturang Pilipino - Buwan ng Wika was celebrated on August 29 and 30, 2024 that gave importance to the Filipino Culture.The celebration culminated with the Awarding Ceremony and Filipino food sharing while viewing Filipino movies. The tasks that the students performed were designed as Performance Tasks for Filipino, Araling Panlipunan, Christian Living Education, and Technology and Livelihood Education.

The First Holy Communion Grades 3 – 7 Students

The First Holy Communion of our 72 students from Grades 3 – 7 was held at the Lady of the Pillar Parish Church, Pilar Village officiated by Rev. Father Gerry Mascariña last February 10, 2024. To prepare for the ceremony, the students and parents completed a 4-week seminar facilitated by the catechists from the parish and organized by Ms. Normie Drio, the school coordinator.
