The opening of The Escolarians’ Cup 2026 marked a vibrant start to the College Intramurals, as Day 1 unfolded with enthusiasm, pride, and a strong sense of community at Centro Escolar Las Piñas.
The celebration began with a lively parade, where students filled the campus with color and excitement, marching alongside the full support of faculty members. The event set the tone for this year’s Games of Honor and Excellence, igniting anticipation for the competitions ahead.
One of the highlights of the day was the Bench Cheering Competition, where teams from the Nursing Department showcased exceptional energy, coordination, and team spirit. Team Blue Mockingbird emerged as the champion, earning an impressive 70 points, followed by strong performances from the Purple Scorpions, Red Phoenix, and Onyx Panthers.
Adding to the excitement, the Escolarians’ Cup Mr. and Ms. segment placed the spotlight on students who exemplified confidence, intelligence, and elegance. The candidates demonstrated not only poise and stage presence but also the values and spirit of a true Escolarian.
The successful opening of the intramurals reflected the unity, passion, and excellence that define the CELP community, setting a high standard for the days of competition ahead.
