Centro Escolar Las Piñas (CELP) kicked off its 50th-anniversary celebration with a vibrant and memorable Day 1 on October 21, 2025. The day was filled with activities that honored the institution's rich history and fostered a sense of community among students, faculty, and alumni. A highlight of the celebration was the first visit of the new President, Atty. Danilo L. Concepcion, together with the CELP management.The festivities began with a Motorcade & Parade, showcasing the school's spirit and pride throughout the city. Following the parade, a Thanksgiving Mass was held, expressing gratitude for the institution's 50 years of academic excellence and service.
The Opening Ceremony officially launched the year-long celebration. Atty. Concepcion delivered an inspirational message and led the ribbon-cutting ceremony, officially marking the beginning of CELP’s Golden Anniversary festivities. Attendees enjoyed a Journey Gallery Walk & Bazaar Hopping, providing a glimpse into the school's history and showcasing local products and talents.The highlight of the afternoon was "The Greatest Dance Showdown: Battle of Rhythms and Grooves," where college students showcased their talents and creativity in a high-energy dance competition that captivated the audience.
Day 1 of CELP's 50th-anniversary celebration was a resounding success, setting the stage for a year filled with commemorative events and activities. Truly, it was a remarkable start to celebrating five decades of cultivating excellence, legacy, and progress in transforming education for the next generation. The celebration reflects CELP's commitment to its mission of providing quality education and fostering a strong sense of community among its stakeholders.
