March 26, 2026 - The Centro Escolar University (CEU) community, together with distinguished guests, gathered for the formal installation and investiture of Danilo L. Concepcion, JD as the University’s 8th President. The solemn ceremony was held at the CEU Chapel, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s leadership.
The event opened with a Eucharistic celebration, setting a reverent tone for the historic occasion. Faculty members, administrators, students, and honored guests witnessed the traditions and rites that formally installed the new University President.
The ceremony featured the reading of the diploma of appointment and the oath of office, symbolizing the official assumption of leadership. One of the most notable highlights was the presentation of the Presidential Academic Collar, representing authority, responsibility, and commitment to the University’s mission.
In addition, the University Mace was presented as a symbol of institutional governance and academic tradition. These rites underscored the continuity of leadership and CEU’s dedication to excellence in education and service.
The event was attended by members of the academic community dressed in full regalia, adding dignity and prestige to the celebration. Inspirational messages and ceremonial rites reflected the University’s enduring values of leadership, scholarship, and service.
