Centro Escolar student candidates and student body was filled with enthusiasm for the election of the Supreme Student Council Officers for SY 2017-2018, held last July 2017 at the Centro Escolar Gymnasium. Excited students from different grade levels attended to critique and reflect for themselves the significance of platforms of their colleagues as they showed their ambitions toward becoming new passionate student leaders in the upcoming election. Candidates from both party list showed determination, eagerness and passion as they recited their campaign speeches and reveal their competitiveness as they answer the questions given by their fellow students.
The question and answer portion led into a quandary for both parties namely the ‘Straight party list and Sulong party list with their campaign managers and as they showed their wits and intelligence of being steadfast as they answer the question, it awakened the atmosphere of the event.
Hence, the CELP Supreme Student Council-Commission on the Election emphasized the importance of meeting de avance, letting the candidates to indicate their advocacies and activities as they executed their mission inside and outside of the school, that will enable to enhance their skills in order to have an innovation and creativity in the school of Centro Escolar. With the presence of the teachers and students of Centro Escolar Las Pinas the event went well.
