UPLBAA AWARDS DR. LOPEZ DURING THE 99TH LOYALTY DAY AND ALUMNI HOMECOMING OF UPLB

On the 9th of October 2017, Centro Escolar Las Pinas (CELP) Senior Vice President Dr. Maria Corazon Tapang-Lopez obtained the 2017 Outstanding UPLB Alumna and 2017 CPAf Distinguished Alumna both for Educational leadership and social development. It was held at the Baker Hall in University of the Philippines-Los Banos during its 99th Loyalty Day and Alumni Homecoming.
Dr. Lopez was given these two distinct awards as an alumna of UPLB because of her outstanding leadership as administrator of various higher education institutions and her contribution to social development as consultant to the office of the president and the Department of Education. The only alumni recognized by the UPLB Alumni Association (UPLBAA) are the exceptional people who showcased their skills as leaders and achievement in the field of public service, education, science and technology, business and international development.
